What will tutoring sessions be like?

How many sessions does my child have to attend?

Minimum requirement is 2 sessions per week. In some cases, our directors may suggest 3 days a week depending on the needs of the child.

How does drop off/pick up work?

On your first visit, your child will be greeted and taken to their assigned teacher for their session. Most of the time, parents drop their children off for their session. Safety is important to us. Therefore, children are dismissed directly to their parents at the end of each session.

What is expected of my child?

During your child’s session, our teachers utilize visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic modalities. Therefore, we ask that students actively participate in their weekly sessions and be on their best behavior.

Can I find out how my child is doing?

Consistent, prompt, attendance is key to your child’s success at Read Write. Progress updates can be arranged at any time with one of our directors upon your request.

Is Read Write open year round?

Yes! It is very important that the students have continuity and consistency. Maintaining consistent attendance is vital to your child’s success. When continuity is disrupted, your child’s success is affected. Students who continue their sessions during the summer improve at a faster rate than those who withdraw.
