PARENT CONSULTATION:

Meet with an Advocacy Specialist in our office to discuss your child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Section 504 Plan, or other school-based plan. The Specialist can guide you through the process of initiating a plan, make recommendations to improve an existing plan, and coach you through your next steps.

WRITTEN RECOMMENDATIONS:

If your student has just been found eligible for an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Section 504 Plan, or other school-based plan, the Advocacy Specialist can suggest appropriate goals and accommodations based on her learning profile. If your student already has a plan, the Advocacy Specialists reviews it and makes recommendations to strengthen and improve it. You receive the recommendations in a polished document that can be shared with the school and used as a guide in school meetings.

MEETING ATTENDANCE:

An Advocacy Specialist attends the Individuals Education Plan (IEP) and Section 504 Plan meeting with the parents. This service must be paired with either a Parent Consultation or Written Recommendations to ensure the Specialist is thoroughly prepared to advocate for the student’s best interest.
